Marketing Examined is a consulting company specializing in media and strategic advisory for growth-stage consumer brands. We’re seeking a dedicated Short Form Content Editor to join our in-house team, focusing on editing, optimizing, and publishing short form video content for our owned channels and select client projects.
If you love content, storytelling, social platforms, and working with $10M–$100M brands to create videos that actually move the needle—this might be the right role for you.

The primary objectives of the role include:
- Edit high-volume short form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
- Develop editing templates and style guides for consistency and speed
- Work closely with the creative and strategy teams to bring concepts to life in post-production
- Optimize videos for platform-specific algorithms and audience retention
- Source and integrate trending sounds, captions, and effects to enhance content performance
- Provide creative input during pre-production to set edits up for success
- Organize and maintain a clear, efficient editing workflow in Frame.io and Google Drive
- Track performance of edited content and refine based on analytics
Nice to haves:
- Living in Austin or willing to relocate
- Strong portfolio of high-performing short form edits
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and social scheduling platforms
